for many countries--but specifically the UK, the total deaths through covid19 will make hardly any difference to the median annual death figures. Why? because those old folks would have died in the year anyway.
to put it all in perspective, the median death rate for the UK is 9.5 per thousand per year...or .95%, which is about 600,000 deaths per annum. so far this year--covid19 has taken about 1200 lives, or about .2% of the average total deaths.
